I see Jin being a one-shot character. I don't really see a relationship forming between them. I feel like it can get really get too complicated and too much for Zuko. I think Jin was there to show that Zuko can open up and was there for more character development for Zuko. The date was sweet. Jin was nice and it was really cute to see Zuko go on a date. I know people are complaining on Zuko lighting the torches where someone could see him. I'm not going to smite him too much for that. Jin was really nice to him and Zuko was just caught up in the moment and lit them. I liked how Zuko kissed her back and was actually acting like a normal teen for a moment. Zuko even admitted it was nice at the end of his tale. I just don't think Zuko is ready to tackle a relationship. While he did go on a date it will still take him a long time to fully open up to someone. A realtionship can't work well unless you are open and honest with it. Zuko lied about why he and Iroh are travelling the Earth Kingdom. How would Jin react if she knew who Zuko really is? He already risked that while lighting torches. Ba Seng Se is not exactally the best place to say and do those kinds of things... Zuko is making progress, not quickly, but he is making progress. You stole the words from my mouth fireymomo. I, personally, liked Jin (or is it Jen?....whatever.) She had a normal personality and she seemed to make Zuko show his more normal teen side. I do admit that she was a little bit too fast for Zuko - running in on a kiss on the first date and all...but that probably just proves that she is a one-time only character. *shrugs*

In my opinion, Jin was a temporary character who was only introduced to help develope Zuko's character. I do feel that this was a foreshadowing of what is to come. My guess is that he will fall in love before the series is over and that he will open up to that person. In the Tales of Ba Sing Se episode Zuko lied to Jin about who he really was. I think that the person he falls in love with will know who he really is. He won't have to keep things from her. But that's just my opinion. I really hope I'm right though cause Jin was just too....open and fast for Zuko.

Hmm. Zuko probably didn't even want to go out with her, b/c IROH MADE HIM DO IT!!! But anyway, they aren't really a cute couple. Zuko+me is much better!
