No, Oriental cultures wear white, I believe. At least, the Japanese do. Something to do with black being too negative or something.
And we don't wear any special color, ourselves ^_^;;;

I am oriental xD. But you are right about the Japanese part.
"While in former times white clothes were worn for funerals, nowadays all guests for the funeral wear black. Men wear a black suit with a white shirt and a black tie, and women wear either a black dress or a black kimono."
thank you wiki^^;

Yup, that's it. ^_^
XD And yeah, I knew that, but I only realized it after I posted.... and I figured that it was mostly the Japanese and then it was the ones in Japan XD

I LOVED that episode. There was only one thing that annoyed me though: Zuko saved Lee, and they hate him. I don't know, maybe I'm being...biased-like....but seriously though..... "Girls are crazy!!" That we are, Zuko. The more I see of Azula, the more I hate her. Love her character, hate her. Ozai's an evil ba- *ahem* son of a gun, but we always knew that. xD Widdle Zuko was soooo cute!! And I made a Zuko music video using clips from this episode! media.putfile.com/Happy-38-40

*eats strawberry pie while typing post* I went strawberry picking on Saturday and my refrigerator is full of strawberries. ^^U Anyway on to my post.
Wow, that episode was just amazing. It was awesome from start to finish just like I expected it to be. I love flashbacks and this episode was full of them. I loved little Zuko! He was so cute, and Azula was evil even when she was little as well. I liked Ursa, she was such a kind mother for Zuko. I liked the scene at the beginning were she and Zuko were at the turtleduck pond.
The ending made me sad. After Zuko saving Lee and being said "I hate you!" to his face made me sad. Zuko was just plain awesome and it looks like his hair is growing more. ^^ So much happend in this episode.
The whole show itself is a puzzle. You get a few pieces to fill in the puzzle only to find that the puzzle is even larger than you think. (I hope this makes sense -_-U) Well, this is what the episode felt like for me, we learned more and are left to try to figure out and want more. Anyway that's my confusing metaphor, in short this episode was awesome.

*is so late* Wow, this episode rocked. Just...everything. And Zuko's hair is growing out quite nicely. *cough* Eveything I would have said has been said, so I'll just be lazy and nod in agreement.

It was a FREAKING AMAZING episode. I wanted to cry when Lee said he hated Zuko at the end...but the awesome fight scene made up for it. And Zuko's dialogue during said fight scene.

Exactly, Sakura. I loved this episode, for basically all of what Sakura said. I can't think of much else in detail.. But I did love Zuko's mother, her character and all the Zuko-ness presented throughout the thing. I'm in love with flashbacks, and I'm glad we got to see all of it and learn more. My favorite quote :: "Girls are crazy!" Oh! Did I menton I loved widdle Zuko's voice? Hehe..Stole the words out of my mouth... I absolutely loved Zuko's mom. She lived for Zuko, being a wonderful mother. Sweet and simple as that. My favorite quote form Zuko's mom: Zuko's mom: *to Azula* What are you doing? Azula: Nothing! *skips away pretending like she wasn't tormenting Zuko* Zuko's Mom: What is wrong with that child? A lot of things are wrong with Azula. She's a demented little child. Thats why I love to hate her character so much. It surprised me at how much Zuko was truely affected by Azula's actions when he was a kid. Yet, you can't exactly blame him for getting freaked out after Azula was chanting that his dad was going to kill him. *shudders* She was/is so creepy... The only thing that bothered me about the episode was the sudden ending. It felt rushed....<.<....>.>.....But you gotta admit, that Zuko realizing who he truely was and kicking the crap out of those guys in the end was pretty cool. ^_^ *cheers for Zuko* I also enjoyed watching Zuko and Lee bond a little. It was entertaining... Lee: *playing with Zuko's swords* Zuko: *comes up behind him* You're holding them wrong... Lee: *surprised* WAH! *fall into sunflowers* ~~~ Zuko: *attempting to hammer nails into the roof but is failing miserbly* Lee: .....So...Where ya from? Zuko: Far away....*continues hammering* *seconds later after Lee was lectured about not asking questions* Lee:....So how'd ya get that scar? Zuko: *hammers thumb* OW!! ~~~ Zuko: *gives Lee the knife* Read the inscription. Lee: *flips over knife* Made in Earth Kingdom. Zuko: The other side... XD

o.O Died?
v.v I've pointed this out before and I'll do it again: Ursa did not die. In the episode, it did not say she died.
Where are people getting this from? o.O

My friends keep telling me she died...but I think see just ran away.... They keep trying to convince me with this quote: Zuko's Mom: "Zuko, I've always lived to protect you..." I'm still not really convinced...

o.O That accutally implies her leaving more than dying. She's not with him anymore, so how could she protect him? That, however, does not mean she's dead. Wouldn't they say it at the ceremony if she was? They said that Azulan's wife and Luten were "now passed." Wouldn't they say Ursa was "now passed?"

Yes, but when Azulan said to Ozai that he would feel the pain of losing a first son, Ursa sacrificed her life for Zuko's so Ozai wouldn't kill him....but I still say that is wrong. (Me and my friends have been argueing about this for days and days XD) And your right. They would have said something about her passing unless they wanted to keep it secret or something...

Besides that... it seems more obvious for Ursa to kill Ozai instead of killing herself because then Ozai wouldnt have to fulfill his punishment to obey his father...
